The role has two areas of responsibility - Human Resources and Communications. It is responsible for leading the club in developing and implementing the human resource, organisational development as well as communications functions such as digital communications, creative, branding, media liaison and overall positioning through campaign development. Working closely with General Managers, senior management and staff, key responsibilities include day to day management of staff resourcing issues and maintenance of, and improvement to, HR systems and processes. The major focus of the role includes recruitment, induction, performance management, training, development, conflict resolution, remuneration and development of retention initiatives, together with managing the day to day communication activities of the Club through the traditional and digital networks. Additionally, the position participates as a member of the Management Team to develop HR related initiatives, business strategy development that contribute to the evolution of the club as a leader in the sporting arena. The coordination of the quality management system and innovations program is also a priority in this role.
